Cheeni Indian Food Emporium is an ode to Preeti's roots, a space created to foster community, and a grab-and-go style market serving home-cooked Indian fare. 

American-Indian freshly baked goods are available, as well as a selection of beverages. A bazaar with curated housewares, Indian textiles, spices, dry goods, gifts, cookbooks, and more stays well-stocked. 

Cheeni also offers chef pop-ups, supper club nights, cooking classes, and private events. 

Cheeni is a family business, owned by Chef Preeti Waas, a twice-nominated James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast.

Whereas we used to operate as a cafe-style restaurant, we're returning to our initial intentions for what Preeti wanted Cheeni: Raleigh to be from the start, which is a space meant to help grow local, small businesses and community relationships through the healing, love, and togetherness of food & cooking.
